Dear Dancers and Guests!
This Summer we are excited to host our first ever FROM THE TOP SUMMER STAGE! Outside! Picknick style! In this letter you will find general information including Show Line-ups (page 3-5) and Dress Rehearsal Schedule (page 6). See attached PDF at the bottom of this post
Date: Sunday, August 9th 2020 Address: East Goshen Township Park, 1615 Paoli Pike, West Chester PA Show Times: 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM
DANCER INFO Dancer Arrival: Please arrive 30-45 minutes before your showtime and check-in with FTT staff so we know you are here!
What to Wear: Come dressed in the costume you need for your first performance (see show line-up below). If you are in multiple numbers, you can leave your other costumes in our dressing room tent. For specific Costume, make-up, and hair requirements your teacher will email you separately.
What to Bring: Your Water Bottle, Additional Costumes, Dance Shoes, Face Mask
Each Show is divided into 3 sections with 5-6 numbers in each section. The students that are dancing in the first section will gather backstage before the show starts. The students dancing in the second or third section will sit in the audience with their guardians, or together with other dancers.
When a dancer has danced their routine, they are to go back to their guardians in the audience. (If they need to change for another number they will do so and stay back-stage).
During “stage break” we will have all the dancers that are dancing in the next section come back-stage for their performances and the process will be repeated as above until the end of the show.
GUESTS INFO
Seating: All guests are welcome to bring chairs and/or blankets to sit on during the show. The stage is set with an amphitheater setting with levels. We will help usher the guests starting 30 minutes before the show. We ask that everyone practice Social Distancing per state guidelines and sit with their own family. Mask on please.
Under the Sun: While the stage is protected from the elements by a tent roof, the audience is not. Sunblock, sunhat, is suggested per your discretion…
Bathroom: Public Bathrooms are available
Fun: While we are all here for dance! We encourage you to come and enjoy the park. There is a basketball court right behind the amphitheater, the pavilion behind the stage is for our use, and there is an excellent playground just a few steps away for the little ones. We will also add more fun to partake in.
VOLUNTEER REQUESTS We are looking for volunteers! We need coolers to hold water bottles, ushers, back-stage helpers, people to hand out programs and other info, answer questions, and people taking pictures! If you want to help out please email or call us!
